Watch Nathan Myhrvold's 'Modernist' Google Talk

Here's cookbook person/patent enforcer Nathan Myhrvold explaining his latest creation, Modernist Cuisine at Home, and how to modernize your "modernist" kitchen to the people of Google. He takes a stab at convincing them the book's not that expensive: MCAH, which runs $94.31 on Amazon, apparently costs $14.14/pound while the original Modernist Cuisine costs $15.63. (He also does a per recipe cost analysis if you don't purchase your cookbooks by the pound.) He then goes on to talk about his love for blowtorches, his favorite cookbook (Escoffier, naturally), and the contradiction of the "ideal" roast chicken.
