November is here and there are plenty of food events taking place across the country and in major cities overseas. Here are some of the most interesting ones going down in the coming month, but do keep in mind that the offerings taper off around Thanksgiving. The docket for November includes a food truck party in Paris from Le Fooding (La Pompe à Bulles), a star-studded series of food events in Napa Valley (Flavor!), a festival on Hong Kong's harbor (Wine and Dine Festival), and a culinary film festival (Chicago Food Film Festival).

Hong Kong Wine and Dine Festival

New York Taste 2012
When: November 5
Where: New York, NY
What: Despite Hurricane Sandy and provided power returns to Lower Manhattan before Monday, this forthcoming tasting event from New York magazine is still a go. It's a monster of an evening, held in a pier along the city's waterfront, that features bites from some of the city's best chefs. Among them: Dan Barber, George Mendes, Alex Stupak, and Seamus Mullen. General admission will run you $190, while a VIP ticket goes for $272.
Denver International Wine Festival

What: A four-day festival in the Rocky Mountains that offers wine enthusiasts pretty much everything they'd need from a big production: vintner dinners, winery tours, tastings, and food and wine pairing competitions. The events are pretty spread out, so you could feasibly do it all, provided you've got plenty of cash to shell out.
Le Fooding's La Pompe à Bulles
When: November 9 - November 10
Where: Paris, France
What: The irreverent, hip folks at Le Fooding are shining a light on the food truck craze and some of its leading proponents by hosting this two-day event at the Station Beaux-Arts. There'll be porchetta, pizza, and soup, all served from stands and trucks. Tickets should be purchased in advance.
