A couple notes on the lineup for Eater Eve, our November celebration of all that is good and right in the world of dining and drinking: 1) Last week, Esquire named Ford Fry's The Optimist its Restaurant of the Year. It was, in our opinion, a strong choice. 2) A few of the participating chefs have asked us about the availability of fryers. These include Stuart Brioza, whose fried quail has been known to make grown men weep at SF's State Bird Provisions. Eater Eve is Sunday, November 11, at the Bowery Hotel in New York City. It will be epic. Buy your tickets now >>
