Joanne Trattoria, the New York restaurant owned by Lady Gaga's parents that was recently Deathwatched by Eater NY, just got a C grade from the DOH. To get a C, a restaurant must receive more than 27 violation points during an inspection. Joanne received 42 points, which according to the New York Post included "unwashed food-prep surfaces, no hand-washing facilities close to the kitchen and food placed in areas ripe for contamination." The restaurant plans to dispute the findings in court. In hopefully unrelated news, Lady Gaga — who calls the food at Joanne "so freaking delicious" — threw up multiple times on stage during a concert in Barcelona last week. Gross.
