Some ambitious pastry chefs in the Austrian town of Seiersberg spent three days baking a sponge cake bearing the town's coat of arms — and weighing in at 2.5 tons, a possible world record. Head chef Werner Russ tells Metro that the cake — made with more than 3,000 eggs — comes topped with 500 kilos of blackberries, pineapple and strawberries. The whole thing is documented on the municipality's Facebook page, so take a spin through the gallery above to see how it's done.
