Chick-fil-A's CEO Is Still Talking About 'Biblical Families'

New, 8 comments

Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy is talking again — for the first time since he made his infamous "guilty as charged" anti-marriage equality comment back in July. Cathy told Atlanta's 11Alive: "Families are very important to our country. Families are very important I think to all of us that are concerned about being able to hang on to the heritage we have. And we support Biblical families, they've always been a part of that." Commence media shitstorm.

Last time Cathy spoke on this subject, a Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day drew massive crowds and the chain restaurant had record sales. Who knows, maybe this is Chick-fil-A's new marketing scheme: put Cathy in front of a reporter and let 'er rip. Below, the 11Alive video.
