Soon Cook It Raw, the globe-trotting avant garde chefs event, will be chronicled in book form: Cook it Raw will be published by Phaidon in April of 2013 (pre-order on Amazon). The book, edited by CIR founder Alessandro Porcelli, will feature contributions by food writers Jeffrey Steingarten and Adam Sachs as well as an introduction by Anthony Bourdain. According to the video below, participating chefs include René Redzepi, Albert Adrià, Pascal Barbot, Daniel Patterson, Sean Brock, David Chang, Ben Shewry and many, many more former CIR participants. "An inspiring collection" of anecdotes from the first four Cook it Raw events — held in Lapland, Japan, Copenhagen, and Italy — will be included. Below, the book trailer.
