Musician Wyclef Jean has announced plans to open a New York City restaurant called The Refugee Lounge: "I feel that we can use a spot in New York that has culture...where it's DJ Culture, it's band culture, it's lounge culture, it's vibe...where it's an eclectic vibe." He says he's still negotiating but to expect an opening in six to nine months. [Eater NY]
