Watch Monster Roll's Sushi Chefs Fight a Giant Squid

Here's Monster Roll from filmmaker Dan Blank, a kind of Get Jiro meets Pirates of the Caribbean short film that Blank tells Wired he hopes to use "as a proof-of-concept to pitch a feature flick." For now, though, you'll have to satisfy yourself with this teaser in which a bunch of strip mall sushi chefs fight a giant squid. (Don't worry, they pull out the really big knife for the occasion.) Below, Monster Roll hints at obnoxious American guys slathering sushi in mayo and sumo wrestlers battling giant crabs on the beach.
