Chef Heston Blumenthal is filming a new series for Channel 4 about "food nostalgia in time for Christmas." And to that end he made a "two-and-half-metre high" Christmas pudding in a "cement mixer lorry" lined with Teflon. It included 600kg of dried fruit. [Essex Chronicle]
