Chipotle continues to slowly roll out its spinoff concept ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen with word today of an expansion to Los Angeles. While there's already one location open in Washington, DC, with another on the way, Eater LA reports that ShopHouse will open in Santa Monica in early 2013. This will be the fledgling chain's first location in Southern California — and, indeed, the first outside of DC. [Eater LA]
