Back in 2010, the minimalistic London-based noodle chain Wagamama announced the desire to expand to a whopping 650 locations in the United States (there are currently three in the Boston area). A Washington, DC location was said to be in in the works, but DC dreams just got dashed: A rep tells Eater DC that "Wagamama will not be opening a restaurant in Washington D.C. as originally planned."
