Alinea in New York Ends, EMP Heads to Chicago

When two three-Michelin starred restaurants merge, is the result a six-Michelin star restaurant? This is what Chicago chef Grant Achatz pondered as the first half of the Alinea/Eleven Madison Park switcheroo ended its run this weekend. Probably not? A chef can dream. Michelin's anonymous Twitter account in Chicago does note that this is a "nice pic," though. Next up, after Achatz and crew pack up their hay bales and go home: EMP in Chicago October 10th through October 14th.
