Yelp is governed by its own rules: they have degenerate feeding frenzies, they review restaurants dedicated to meat despite being vegetarians, they review fictional restaurants, and today they have determined the "top" restaurants in the country based on how popular it is on Yelp. Okay, sure, let's play.

Number one is Los Angeles restaurant Bottega Louie, which is described on its Yelp page with words like "AWESOME," "A STEAL," "DROOOOL," "UNREAL," and "AMAZING." Other entries on the list include Ippudo in New York (#3) and Ike's Place in San Francisco (#8). Like last year, the list heavily favors California restaurants; draw what conclusions you may.
