Watch a Fight Totally Trash a Montreal Restaurant

Time for a simultaneously confounding, hilarious, and somewhat tragic video of people beating the shit out of each other inside the New Dynasty restaurant in Montreal. This thing has it all: tables tipping over, people slamming chairs on one another, plate and cutlery throwing, yelps and screams, and of course, a dude who decided to videotape it.

According to the Montreal Gazette, the brawl took place between 3:30 and 4 AM on January 1st, but the explanation given by an anonymous employee doesn't exactly clear things up: "It started when two men who were not restaurant patrons walked by and said hello to a friend who was eating there, the man said. Another patron then stood up on a table and pointed to the passersby and all hell broke loose, the employee said." What is clear, however, is that the restaurant experienced $10-20,000 in damage and that people do stupid things on New Year's Eve. No one's pressing charges.
