In not terribly surprising news out of New York, the lawyers behind Chipotle and its new concept ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen are working to ensure the primacy of their name. Chipotle lawyers requested a restaurant by the name of Pure Thai Shophouse to change its name to Pure Thai Cookhouse. Of course, the only existing ShopHouse Southeast Asian Kitchen location is in DC, not New York — but that's just for now. Those expansion plans are looking good. [Midtown Lunch via Eater DC]
