As promised, the one and only Pee-Wee Herman will be on Top Chef: Texas next week. (The Alamo figured heavily in his 1985 film Pee-Wee's Big Adventure.)

Naturally, the episode will involve a lot (a lot) of pancakes, riding bikes in 110 degree Texas weather, a trip to the Alamo, and the fearless judges failing to keep straight faces while hanging out with the in-character Herman. Above, stills from the shoot and below, previews of the challenges.
