Here's One Girl Cookies (buy on Amazon), a pretty little cookbook from the Brooklyn bakery of the same name. Unlike other recent bakery cookbooks like Baked and Milk Bar that are full of quirky riffs on classic dishes, this is a cookbook full of straight-forwardly traditional treats like pineapple upside-down cake, tiny tea cookies and other old fashioned favorites with a slight Italian-bent (Casale is Sicilian).
