In an interview with Robin Leach, shouty chef Gordon Ramsay explains why he's opening a steakhouse in Las Vegas: "This is not about boasting profits and showing off with 3 Michelin Stars and foie gras and truffle. This was about navigating your way out of a recession in a sensible way. You become more of a businessman and strategically place yourself on the same level as your customers." Thing is, there is no Michelin Guide for Las Vegas anymore; it was cancelled back in 2009. [Las Vegas Weekly]
