Ruth Reichl is in San Francisco this weekend for the Good Food Awards, which honor outstanding food producers and farmers across the U.S. Eater SF caught up with Reichl at a fancy Gilt Taste party, where she told them that "you don't need to be a genius" to judge quality fare, because "good food is good food." When asked about her movie, Garlic And Sapphires, Reichl plays coy. Who'll play her character? "Oh, I don't know. Ask me when we have the script." [-ESF-]
