According to the Publishers Information Bureau, magazine ad pages overall fell 3.1% in 2011 (although with a slight $8 million increase in revenue). Of the twelve major categories that are tracked by the bureau, which category had the biggest drop in revenue (-16.6%) and drop in ad pages (-17%) in 2011? Food and Food Products. Uhoh.
