OK, this is really horrible stuff: a former Inn at Little Washington sous chef is facing a felony charge for allegedly feeding his cat to his dogs. On Christmas Eve. The Rappahannock News reports that Anthony Robert Ahrens — most recently (but no longer) head chef at Cafe Indigo in Sperryville, Virginia — has been charged with "torturing or willfully inflicting inhumane injury or pain to the animal, as a direct result causing its death."
