McDonald's Adding Fireplaces to 1,400 Chilly Canadian Stores

McDonald's is spending $1 billion remodeling 1,400 restaurants across Canada. What changes are in store? Well, it's cold in Canada, so they're getting fireplaces. Also: flat screen televisions, unlimited free Wi-Fi, and "stone and tile accents, as well as wood tones and colourful wall graphics."

If $1 billion seems like a lot of money, well, they're spending $2.4 billion to remodel US locations. Below, video renderings of what the new spaces will look like.
