Here Is a List of the 'Manliest Restaurants in America'

So the magazine Men's Health, purveyor of all things that are manly and healthy, had an online poll thing in which readers were asked to vote between 45 different restaurants around the country to help select the "manliest restaurant in America." The nine regional finalists have been selected, and they include Salt Lick BBQ in Austin/Driftwood, Keens Steakhouse in NYC, Primanti Bros. in Pittsburgh, and Salt's Cure in Los Angeles.

The apparent theme among all these "manly" restaurants is, of course, meat, meat, and more meat. The overall "Manliest Restaurant in America" will be chosen by the manly editors of Men’s Health and will be revealed in the December 2011 issue. Here's the full list:

NORTHWEST: Couloir (Jackson Hole, WY)

SOUTHWEST: Salt Lick BBQ (Austin TX)
SAN FRANCISCO: Original Joe’s (San Jose, CA)
GULF COAST: Alabama Jack’s (Key Largo, FL)
LOS ANGELES: Salt’s Cure (Los Angeles, CA)
