Replacing Sifton

Replacing-Sifton.jpgEater New York ponders who, realistically, could replace Sam Sifton as New York Times dining critic. Most candidates are awfully easy to recognize. There's also the Times' whole "no freebies in the past three years" policy. Dining section editor Pete Wells might be a candidate. Or perhaps another woman? The upshot: "Smart money is on Wells and [deputy dining editor] Nick Fox picking some rando from some obscure department at the paper." [Eater NY]
