Guy Fieri Was Asked Not to Wear Shorts in Alaska

If Guy Fieri wants to wear shorts, Guy Fieri's going to wear shorts. Former Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives producer David Page — who just settled a breach-of-contract lawsuit with the Food Network — tells the New York Post that one of the reasons he had issues working with Fieri is that, during a shoot for a Christmas episode in Alaska, the Food Network host/yellow car collector refused to wear pants.

Even though the shoot took place in October when Alaska was sadly devoid of Christmasy snow, Fieri "simply didn’t want to accept the fact that ... running around in short pants didn’t help." Where exactly is the dedication to his craft? Oh well, maybe Fieri's on to something. After all, the ladies love him.
