As a social experiment, programmer and writer Jonathan Stark publicly posted his Starbucks card online, letting anyone use it to buy coffee or, inversely, put money on it. And of course it's connected to a Twitter account to show the constantly changing balance. It's an experiment with "social sharing of physical goods using digital currency on mobile phones."
