Caesar's Palace is getting a few new culinary imports: as next month's opening of Michel Richard's American/French bistro, Central, draws closer, it has been announced that an outpost of New York's Homestead Steak House will open in the casino before the end of the year. Homestead dates back to 1868 and the Caesar's location is co-owned by Marc Sherry, a grandson of Harry Sherry, who bought the steakhouse in 1951.
Also, according to Page Six, New York night club 1Oak is opening in a 16,000 square foot space in the Mirage before the end of the year. A rep for the bar just said, "There have been several discussions about 1Oak opening in Las Vegas," though.
