Chinese Ramen Scandal

ajisen-ramen-150.jpgThe ramen chain Ajisen Ramen — which has hundreds of locations worldwide — saw its stock drop over 50% after the Chinese media questioned the freshness of its pork broth. Despite the website's claim that the broth is "a broth of pork bones simmered to perfection," accusations that the broth is instead made with instant seasoning were enough for the restaurant's stock to plummet.
