Spanish sandwich chain 100 Montaditos is aiming to open 4,000 US locations over the next five years. As a comparison, that's slightly more locations than Sonic has, and slightly fewer than Dairy Queen. So it's a pretty ambitious project. They already have one location open in Miami and have eight additional Florida locations planned to open by next March. They're going to have to pick up the pace a little to get to 4,000.

Montaditos are five-inch-long Spanish sandwiches that sell for $1-$2.50 (you're supposed to have more than one). Also, the chain dresses up baguettes in their ads to look like people, including mafiosos (with little bread roll hands?), Darth Vader, and Professor Dumbledore.
