Here Is a List of 25 Very Expensive Restaurants in the US

Looking to really, really impress a date? Bundle took a look at spending data and rounded up the 25 restaurants with the highest check averages in America. The average seems to be for all checks, regardless of table size; perhaps looking at the per-diner spending rates would be a better standard? Anyway, the top two honors go to Thomas Keller's French Laundry ($957) and Per Se ($883). Chicago restaurants show up quite a few times, with Alinea, Charlie Trotter's, Tru, Les Nomades, and Everest making up for half of the top ten. Here's the list:
