It's official: Thomas Keller will launch a ten day pop-up at Harrods in London this October. The restaurant will serve a £250 (US$400) nine course tasting menu featuring classic French Laundry dishes as well as things created specifically for London diners.
The price tag will apparently "raise a few eyebrows" for London diners used to less-expensive tasting menus, and it is priced higher than the menu at the French Laundry in Napa, which costs a comparatively reasonable $270. Still, with the pop-up seating just 70 at once, expect the reservation line to be totally jammed when it opens September 1.
