Food & Wine has a new piece featuring some Alice Waters recipes with peaches, "the most delicious food" as far as she's concerned. There's also an anecdote from the new release of Forty Years of Chez Panisse, in which she tried to show then-president Bill Clinton "the Alice way" by slipping him a peach as he left a fund-raiser: "I was sure if I fed the president a perfect peach... it would bring him to a new understanding of the politics of food."
