Fat Duck's High Call Volume

New, 4 comments

Heston-Blumenthal-QL.jpgChef Heston Blumenthal says Fat Duck receives more than 30,000 calls a day from people wanting to dine at the experimental restaurant. That's pretty impressive, considering the state of the economy, and the fact that not everyone likes snail porridge. Blumenthal says the call volume, double the amount 18 months ago, confirms the restaurant as "a 16-year overnight success." [Guardian]
