Groupon vs. Google Offers

Google-Groupon-Portland.jpgGroupon competitor Google Offers just finished a month of testing in Portland. An analysis on TechCrunch of 24 deals from each organization found that Google grossed $129,000 compared with $331,000 for Groupon. Google Offers tended to offer cheaper deals and generally had more restrictions. "A deal for a barber shop was 'valid only for barbers Brian or Jennifer.'" [TechCrunch]
