Vadouvan-SF.jpgSan Francisco Chronicle critic Michael Bauer says vadouvan is showing up on menus all over the Bay Area. Even the word itself might have been unfamiliar a few years ago, but today "most people recognize it as a mild curry." The mix of "curry leaves, mustard seeds, fenugreek, garlic and often cumin" is appearing in some fairly diverse restaurants. [ISSF]
