NJ Restaurant Can Be Sued For Serving Vegetarians Meat

New, 1 comment

A judge has ruled that a vegetarian Hindu group in Edison, New Jersey can sue Moghul Express Indian restaurant for accidentally serving them meat-filled samosas instead of vegetarian ones back in 2009. Oops.

The group is alleging "negligence, negligent infliction of emotional distress, consumer fraud, products liability and breach of express warranty." And, oh yeah, they want the restaurant to pay for them to get to India to undergo a purification ritual. That could end up being one expensive pastry mixup.
