On New York's Food Truck Crackdown

wafels-dinges-150.jpgIn the New York Times, Midtown Lunch's Zach Brooks takes a look at the current state of New York food trucks, which "exist in a legal gray area." Brooks' advice? "Do what street hawkers in New York have always done after big crackdowns like this one: wait for it to end and then return to Midtown bit by bit, in a way that is respectful to the rent-paying businesses. Or ditch the truck and open a brick-and-mortar business." [NYT]
