The PR2 is a robot that is currently teaching itself how to make chocolate chip cookies from scratch at MIT. It turns out cookies are a pretty difficult thing for a robot to master, and, in the video below, the PR2 takes a (somewhat sloppy) stab at the process. They're even teaching it how to clean up after itself.
So let's get this straight: there are robot bartenders. Robot waiters. Robot butchers. Robots that can use woks and flip pancakes. Even robot customers. And soon there will be robot pastry chefs. Do we really need humans to operate a fully functioning restaurant anymore?
