2012 is shaping up to be the year of the coffee book: one such volume is on the way from New York Times Dining section contributor Oliver Strand, and today comes the announcement of another from the team behind New York coffee shop Joe: The Art of Coffee.
JOE: It's All About Coffee will be a "fully illustrated, hip guide to coffee" that covers the entire coffee community including its "growers, buyers, roasters, baristas and drinkers." The book will be written by the brother and sister owners of Joe, Jonathan and Gabrielle Rubinstein and co-authored by food writer Judith Choate; look for it next year from Lyons Press.
