When Dads of Crying Babies in Restaurants Attack

Warning: always use caution when approaching the parents of howling offspring. Some poor guy learned that lesson the hard way after he asked a crying baby's parents if perhaps they could take it outside and the kid's father snapped and smashed a wine bottle over his head. He was just trying to have a romantic evening at a London Indian restaurant with his lady, but instead ended up in the romantic ER with a gashed head.

The father was sentenced to two years and five months in jail for the incident, which the judge called "a vicious and cowardly attack." Maybe if restaurants had policies against crying babies this kind of thing could be prevented? Or maybe we should just ban children from restaurants altogether.
