First there were meatless Mondays, now the California Legislature has passed a resolution asking residents to eat California-grown food on Sundays. Granted this goal is a little more realistic in California than, say, Minnesota. According to the LA Times, the state "produces more than 400 commodities, including chickens, avocados, oranges and milk." [LA Times]
