Either Fox is being totally sneaky or there's a glitch in the Matrix. In the opening credits of MasterChef, the voiceover says, "Out of thousands that applied, only 18 home cooks have made it into the MasterChef kitchen," alongside a crowd shot full of artificial people (view larger). The image was spotted on Reddit, but the one above includes the redheaded lady not in the original.
