The Wall Street Journal spent a day with Chez Panisse founder Alice Waters, from her 7:30 a.m. bath until 11 p.m. bedtime. In between she sends 193 emails, cooks zero meals, and has a "Japanese snack" at 4:10 p.m. Waters is constantly on her feet, taking a seat "only when eating or letter-writing." [WSJ]
