Stumptown Expanding

stumptown-nyt-150.jpgThe mystery has been solved: Stumptown has received an investment from private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners and will use the funds to expand in Brooklyn, San Francisco, and Chicago. Founder Duane Sorenson told The New York Times he still owns the coffee roaster, and that "the only thing that’s changed is that I brought in an investor, a buddy of mine, who brought in some money so that I can do the things I want to do."
