Last night on the Late Show, host David Letterman checked chef Eric Ripert's fish for radiation using a Geiger counter. Letterman also took a Dover Sole and turned it into a tie. Ripert was stunned: "Actually I was planning on teaching you how to filet."
Asked Letterman, "How come it is you don't weight 400 pounds? Because I've eaten at your restaurant and my problem is that I get in there and I can't stop eating. And they say, well we've got an 18-course tasting menu. And I run through it once, and I say, Hell, let's go again. Let's play another nine!"
