Michael Solomonov of Philadelphia's Zahav took a turn on Nightline's Platelist series, and confesses he started cooking because "I was an art major dropout who spoke terrible Hebrew" living in Israel. He also shares what he likes about cooking: "I get to freak out and yell and break plates if things go wrong." He's (probably) kidding.
Then, at the end of the segment, Solomonov, who recently competed on Iron Chef America, does the robot. Which, curiously, Chicago chef Graham Elliot also did in his Platelist last year. Who did it better? An informal Eater staff poll selected Graham Elliot as the better robot dancer. But a chef dance-off might be in order.
