The Science of White Castle

white-castle-ql.jpgLong before White Castle was the stuff of stoner jokes, its founders gave the humble hamburger stand a rather visionary makeover. Co-founder Billy Ingram believed he had created "a burger-oriented version of manifest destiny," applying scientific reasoning and a "Kremlinesque" management style to the chain.
