2011 Association of Food Journalists Awards Finalists

The Association of Food Journalists announced the finalists for its annual awards, recognizing "excellence in all aspects of food journalism." The placement of the finalists ? either first, second or third ? will be announced October 6 at the AFJ's annual conference in Charleston, South Carolina.

In the largest newspaper circulation category, the Chicago Tribune, San Francisco Chronicle, and Washington Post are competing for Best Newspaper Food Coverage. (See the list of last year's winners.)
