On tonight's new episode of Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre Foods — Travel Channel 9PM E/P — our daring host travels to New York City and works in a bunch of restaurants, including waiting tables at The Meatball Shop (disguised!) and working the line at Michael White's restaurant Marea. Zimmern also tours Chinatown and gets a lesson in butchering from Pat LaFrieda at his butcher shop.
"The theme of the episode is a combo platter," Zimmern told us. "We visit places no one gets to see and I try my hand cooking around town, seeing if I still have the chops to cut it in my old hometown." And look out for a Ruth Reichl cameo.
